Entertaining Guests for the Holidays
The holiday season is a time to have family and friends over to your house for fun and celebration. A little planning may keep your guests safe from injury.
- Be sure to clear the house entry way of debris, snow, or ice that may cause someone to trip or slip and fall.
- Safely secure medications in places that small children will not have access to.
- Before guests arrive scan each room for safety hazards such as tripping hazards, slick surfaces, or uneven surfaces. Mark or remove the hazards.
- If you serve alcohol ensure your guests have a designated driver if they choose to leave the party or invite them to stay the night.
